On the contrary, molybdenum has a strong interaction with impurities such as phosphorus, which can generate precipitates within the crystal and hinder the segregation of phosphorus at grain boundaries. This can alleviate the high-temperature tempering brittleness of rare earth elements, which also has a similar effect to molybdenum. Titanium more effectively promotes the precipitation of phosphorus and other impurity elements within the crystal, thereby weakening the grain boundary segregation of impurity elements and slowing down high-temperature tempering brittleness.
